At Troytown Equine we offer a wide range of reproduction services both on the yard and in the clinic.
At the yard we can provide routine visits including:
- Swabbing and blood testing,
- ultrasound examinations,
- pregnancy scans,
- stallion collection
- fertility investigation and more.
We can also perform castration on the yard in young animals either standing or knocked down, or for older animals in the clinic under general anaesthesia.
In the clinic we are set up to provide:
- a full artificial insemination (AI) service for fresh, chilled or frozen semen.
- all livery for mares or mares with foals at foot either stabled or in post and rail paddocks.
- all blood samples, swabs, ultrasound examination, pregnancy checks and management of problems mares and reproductive surgeries.
We also now proudly offer more advanced reproductive services targeted at the sport horse industry including ET, OPU or ICSI. Please contact us to discuss these options with one of veterinary surgeons.
